Excellent read by Nolan Lawson going into different scrolling mechanisms and their internals. It turns out that e.g. scrolling via touch input will be handled by a different thread. This helps to guarantee a smooth scroll experiencen even when the UI-thread is busy.

Robert Pearce gave an awesome talk at this year nz.js(con). He focused on team collaboration and what can lead to a toxic environment. There are these tiny things that can make someone feel uncomfortable without us noticing it.
Robert tells powerful stories that show what can go wrong, and these stories really made me think about my behavior in my team. Highly recommended!

aria-currentwould have been the correct choice. Leonie Watson took a look at this attribute including perfect examples.
